It is the policy of AA Advantage Doors to provide our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, which will serve as a guide to proper business conduct for all those employed by AA Advantage Doors, including any casual and part-time employees, as well as students and volunteers. We expect everyone working on behalf of AA Advantage Doors to observe the highest standards of ethics and integrity in their conduct. This means following a basic code of ethical behavior that includes the following:
Build Trust and Credibility
The success of our business is dependent on the trust and confidence we earn from our employees, customers, suppliers and business associates. We believe that we will gain credibility by adhering to our commitments, displaying honesty and integrity and reaching company goals solely through honorable conduct. All of our actions take proper account of ethical considerations, together with the protection and enhancement of the moral position of all whom we deal with, such as our clients and suppliers.
Equality and discrimination
We will treat everyone with dignity and respect. AA Advantage Doors is committed to creating such an environment because it brings out the full potential in each of us, which, in turn, contributes directly to our business success. AA Advantage Doors is committed to providing a workplace that is free of discrimination of all types from abusive, offensive or harassing behavior. We always strive to be fair and objective in our advice and actions, and we are never influenced in our decisions, actions or recommendations by issues of gender, race, creed, colour, age or personal disability.
Create a Culture of Open and Honest Communication
At AA Advantage Doors, everyone should feel comfortable to speak his or her mind, particularly with respect to ethics concerns. We vow to create an open and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable raising such questions or concerns. We will investigate all reported instances of questionable or unethical behavior, and will take appropriate action in such cases.
Set the Tone at the Top
AA Advantage Doors Management has the added responsibility for demonstrating, through their actions, the importance of this Code. In any business, ethical behavior does not simply happen; it is the product of clear and direct communication of behavioral expectations, modeled from the top and demonstrated by example. Ultimately, our actions speak louder than words. AA Advantage Doors will promptly address any ethical questions or concerns raised and will take the appropriate steps to deal with such issues. AA Advantage Doors will not consider any of these concerns as threats or challenges to authority, but rather as another encouraged form of business communication. We want the ethics dialogue to become a natural part of daily work.
Uphold the Law
AA Advantage Doors’ commitment to integrity begins with complying with laws, rules and regulations where we do business. We strive to ensure that we have a proper understanding of the policies, laws, rules and regulations that apply to our roles.
Fees
Our fees are always competitive for what we provide, which is high quality, tailored, specialized service. We always try to propose solutions which accommodate our clients’ available budgets and timescales. Wherever possible we agree our fees and basis of charges clearly in advance, so that we and our clients can plan reliably for what lies ahead, and how it is to be achieved and financially justified.
Payment
We aim to be as flexible as possible in the way that our services our charged. We make no attempt to charge interest on late payments, so we expect payments to be made when agreed.
Quality assurance
We offer an unbeatable 4 year warranty on all workmanship. We ensure that our customer’s expectations guide the development and continuous improvement of processes, products, and services. We integrate customer satisfaction to create a standard approach to the continuous improvement of our work.
Professional conduct
We conduct all of our activities professionally and with integrity. We take great care to be completely objective in our judgement and any recommendations that we give, so that issues are never influenced by anything other than the best and proper interests of our clients.
Competition
We are dedicated to ethical, fair and vigorous competition. We will sell AA Advantage Doors products and services based on their merit, superior quality, functionality and competitive pricing. We will make independent pricing and marketing decisions and will not improperly cooperate or coordinate our activities with our competitors. We will not offer or solicit improper payments or gratuities in connection with the purchase of goods or services for AA Advantage Doors or the sales of its products or services, nor will we engage or assist in unlawful boycotts of particular customers.
Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining the highest degree of integrity in all our dealings with potential, current and past clients, both in terms of normal commercial confidentiality, and the protection of all personal information received in the course of providing the business services concerned. We extend the same standards to all our customers, suppliers and associates.
Proprietary Information
It is important that we respect the property rights of others. We will not acquire or seek to acquire improper means of a competitor’s trade secrets or other proprietary or confidential information. We will not engage in unauthorized use, copying, distribution or alteration of software or other
intellectual property.
